You know, I never thought I’d be the kind of person to get caught up in a scam, but here we are. A couple of months ago, I was moving from Kharkiv to Lviv and decided to go with a moving company I found on social media—looked legit, had a few decent reviews. Long story short, they took an upfront payment and just ghosted me. I had to scramble last minute to find someone else, and it cost me way more than it should’ve. I’m still pretty annoyed about it. So now I'm trying to figure out what red flags to watch out for and how to tell if a moving company is actually trustworthy. Anyone got tips or maybe some sort of checklist? Would be super helpful.
