Friends, I was born and live in South Africa, and I once traveled to the United States on an H-2B visa for work. However, I have wanted to move to the United States for a very long time. I just found out a week ago that there is an EB-3 visa that can lead to permanent residency. Could you tell me more about this process?
I'm also from South Africa. Which city are you from? I'm from Pretoria, one of the capitals. About a year ago, I got a residency in the United States through an EB-3 green card. I learned about this visa on the eb3.work website, and I decided to apply. First, I chose a job opening and a state. Then, there were several stages: PERM labor certification, I-140 petition, and consular processing (there is also an adjustment of status if you are in the U.S.). In total, the process took me about 3.5 years. If you have any other questions, feel free to send me a private message.
