AK11 – Fan Noise / BIOS Update

  Hello,

  I recently purchased an AWOW Mini PC AK11 (Intel N150, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD).
  Overall, the device works fine, but I have noticed an issue with the fan noise.

  The fan runs in a cycle: it spins up loudly for about 5–8 seconds, then becomes quiet for around 30 seconds, and repeats this continuously, even when the system is idle and not under heavy load.

  This behavior is quite distracting in a quiet room.

  I would like to ask:

  1. Is there any BIOS update or firmware fix available for the AK11 that can improve the fan control/curve?

  2. Are there any recommended settings to reduce this fan pulsing noise?

  I immediately installed Linux (Debian 13) on my AK11. I do not experience any problems with the fan. The fan only runs audible when the CPU has a lot to work on. Anyway, I would like to be able to re-install/update the AMI UEFI BIOS, but could not find any information about this under the support pages for the AK11. Please provide the files need for bios installation/update on the support pages.
