First of all, you should enforce email verification and even SN verification of new accounts here.
Second, clean up all the spam in the "Customer Center" forum -- otherwise, what use is it? Clearly no one looks at this forum, which means this product is not likely to actually receive support. Sad. It's a nice product.
On to my actual question. I received the AK41 yesterday and am overall impressed. However, the fan creates a lot of noise. The fan itself does not make noise, but it runs at a speed which results in excessive air noise. Although the fan motor is somehow temperature controlled, it is badly tuned. The temperature leaving the right side is somewhat warm, not hot, yet the fan is fully engaged. The fan speed could be reduced to 10% with the same effect.
Further, though there are many software tools to control fans on motherboards, none of the most popular I downloaded have been able to recognize a control for this fan. I hae modified a BIOS setting to "enable" "fan device" support, but this also had no effect.
Please provide technical specifications on how to control the fan through software, or show how one can modify the motherboard safely to make the fan more controllable.
I would also live with limiting CPU performance for a quieter system.
