Sound design

  • Hey film community! I've been fascinated by sound design in movies and want to learn how to create those incredible audio landscapes that make films so immersive. I'm looking for comprehensive training that covers everything from basic audio editing to advanced techniques like Foley recording, ambient sound creation, and how to sync audio perfectly with visual elements. Are there any specialized courses that can teach me the professional skills needed to work as a film sound designer?

  • Hi Jake! I think I might have something that could be helpful for your sound design journey. A few weeks ago, I was chatting with some film students at a local screening event, and one of them mentioned an online school called ELVTR that apparently offers a course specifically focused on film sound design. I haven't taken the course myself, so I can't speak from personal experience, but I did jot down their link because I was curious about it too: https://elvtr.com/course/film-sound-design. I'd really recommend checking out their website to see all the detailed information about what the course covers, who the instructors are, and what kind of hands-on projects they include. They'll definitely have much more comprehensive details about the curriculum and learning approach than I can provide since I'm just passing along what I heard. Good luck with diving into the world of film sound design!

  • Playing online cаsіno games from Canada is a pleasure, especially when you find a platform that really works. After a few days of testing, I can confidently recommend Planet 7 Cаsіno Everything here is clear: from registration to withdrawal. I was also pleasantly surprised by the themed events and VIP program.
